What really grabbed me with this video was the warning put out by the uploader at the beginning of the clip:
WARNING: A clip in this video has (apparently) driven many viewers to insanity and suicide. DO NOT watch if you are easily scared.
Uh, wow. Okay. With a warning like that how could you NOT watch it?
I did, and here's my take on the three clips. If you don't want any spoilers, then skip reading everything below this portion until you watch the video.
Clip #1: Japanese Businessmen
The guys in this video see some strange looking woman at a restaurant who they start making fun of. Later, they see her again at the subway station where she waves at them and steps in front of a train to her death.
According to YouTube commenter "PaulyIllest":
In the first clip (I take Japanese) they were having a buisness celebration at a resteraunt and were slightly drunk. They noticed the pale woman and were making fun of her and calling her "it". Later at the station they were going to return to they're office to pick something up and left they're wives/girfriends to go home and noticed the woman again. They call her "it" once more, but when she walks off the man keeling over says he feels as if a seering pain is going through him...
Now personally, I don't think this clip is real and is probably the result of some hoaxers. Why would only these businessmen be able to see the woman? Why would no-one react to her getting hit by the train? A solid ghost that only the people with the camera happen to see? (why would they be filming in the subway anyway?)
It definitely has points on the creepy scale, but I don't think it has much on the realism.
Clip #2: The Alchemist Theater Investigation
A lone paranormal investigator goes into The Alchemist Theater in Milwaukee. I checked it out and yes, it is a real place. Almost immediately, things start to happen in this theater. Doors open and close, seats move, and stuff falls down. It definitely has quite a few moments that will startle you, especially if you're watching it intently. It certainly scared the investigator enough times!
What I really like about this is that the investigator brought two cameras with him. One he carries with him and one he sets up to watch him from a different angle. Whenever something happens he shows you what has happened from both cameras.
I might have thought the expensive camera equipment was a bit suspicious, but I also saw a comment from YouTube user, jnb4566:
LOL clip #2 was a friend of mine from Face Book, he's a small time film maker, BUT also owns a farm/property in USA with a haunted farm house & pig farm, he's also featured on My Ghost Story series telling his story.
I'll have to try to find the "My Ghost Story" clip, but for now I'm calling this one real. Spooky!
Clip #3: Haunted Hospital
This final clip is the one that has apparently driven people to insanity and suicide. Personally after seeing it, I don't see how it could do that to anyone simply from watching it, perhaps if you were there though it could be a different story... either way this was definitely the scariest of the three clips and I did feel some shivers.
It's another Asian clip but this time there are at least subtitles to read. Basically a reporter is doing an investigation of a haunted hospital. They did an interview with someone who had been in there before and dropped his camera, but was too scared to go back in and retrieve it.
Upon their investigation they certainly find some disturbing things, including a final discovery of something so bizarre and unknown that they run out screaming. What is the mass they discover? It looks like something out of a Resident Evil movie.
Is this final clip real or fake? I did manage to find a comment by AndrewRuthven1 which gives his take on all three clips.
To the best of my knowledge the 1st one is a viral video for the new ringu/saddako movie, The third one is also a viral video for a movie or tv show. The 2nd one seems legit though.
Overall, everyone has their own opinion! If the third one is real, it is truly terrifying. Unfortunately, embedding has been disabled for this video, but here's the link so you can judge for yourself :)
